Gary as a Speaker

Grandfather

The Generational Father

Well he’s pretty good.   Naw, he don’t have a  hankerin for big city business conventions.  But sure does fine at focused venues.  Churches, retreats, Rotary and Lions, and for teacher, police and military training workshops.

Gary’s lectures and seminars balance energy, insight, humor, and slices of the “Cowboy Way”.  His knowledgeable talks are centered around his research on generational cultures with stories from his partnership fathering with his son-in-law, the therapist, his global travels and high level adventures —Navy fighter pilot, missionary, rancher, business entrepreneur, teacher.  He peppers his main points on the differences and the mutual benefit in the various culture sets with personal stories.

Civic Groups

Gary, a Rotarian, is equally at home speaking to Lions, Kiwanis, and other civic groups.  Don’t forget AMVETS and American Legion.

Church, Sunday School,
Study Groups, Retreats

From his years in professional ministry as a youth and church pastor and as a missions pioneer, Gary has insights how fathers and grandfathers and their comrades of heart can form the best team to prepare future men and women to lead in the coming chaotic world.

Educators, Teacher Training

By virtue of his role as a “Professional Guest Teacher” substituting for the full K-12 spectrum in San Diego and Riverside Counties, Gary is in touch with parents and teachers and students as a consultant to the challenges of the Millennial and “Oh-no” generations which teachers hope to prepare for the future of their nation and the world. Gary welcomes opportunities to speak at teacher training and in parent-teacher meetings.

Corporate, Sales, and Enterprise Business

Having started and managed four global businesses, one to a significant success and three lost to cultural and generational collisions, Gary has earned his practical insights the hard way. Outfitted with generational demographics and a little motivational prodding, Gary equips the Traditional Generation owner, the Boomer manager, the XGen supervisor, and the hotshot Millennial sales and computer force to synchronize their generation’s gifts…and to get along.

Military, Police, and other Command Structures

By way of his 32 years in the Navy and naval reserves in command and staff leadership, Gary—Captain Taylor—brings a sea bag full of military experience to bear across the full spectrum of inter-rank relationships. Knowing how Millennial officers and enlisted see the world of work and authority differently from their XGen commanders provides for a lively day-long seminar to create more efficient mission completion.

Yikes! Hey, Saddlemate, are you talking about me or George Washington or Abe Lincoln? I am more touched that I can say, Sergio, that across the waters and the cultures, my favorite Brazilian still keeps his eye on me. I’m still fasting since that Brazilain lunch.
